Yolanda Gonzalez

McAllen- Yolanda "Yolie" Gonzalez, born on June 24, 1955 in El Salvador to Jose Mario Bernal Moreno and Maria Cordelia Biret, passed away on August 8, 2014 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Yolie is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Ramiro Gonzalez; four children, Eugenio Perez, IV., (Marcelina) of Albuquerque, N.M., Mario A. Perez (Lucy Michelle) of Pecos, N.M., Ramiro F. Gonzalez of McAllen and Kevin I. Gonzalez of McAllen; three grandchildren, her mother Maria Cordelia Biret (Jean Claude); siblings, Mario Bernal and Jose Bernal (Fabiola), Ana Maria Bernal Curtis (Perry); her mother in law, Emma Gonzalez and numerous nieces and nephews. Yolie was formerly of Vaughn, N.M. and resided in McAllen for the past 20 years. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00pm at Legacy Funeral Home, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg. Chapel Service will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Legacy Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. The Family is in the care of Legacy Funeral Home of Edinburg.
