Dr. William Kevin Conlon, 60, passed away on Sunday, June 9th 2013 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on May 20th 1953 in Bronx, New York to William Martin and Lillian P. Conlon.
Dr. Conlon served the Rio Grande Valley for more than twenty years as a Chiropractor. He completed his undergraduate work at Ramapo College in New Jersey earning a degree in Marketing and Economics. After working several years in the business community, he decided to change careers. He gave up a lucrative position and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to complete his professional training at Life College, receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Conlon joined StroneRidge Physical Rehabilitation Center, Inc. in 2006.
Dr. Conlon was highly active with different ministries at Trinity Worship Center in Pharr, including Teaching, Bible Study, Home fellowship groups, served in music ministry and was a recognized Elder of the Church Board.
Dr. Conlon is survived by his caring and devoted wife, Maria Sylvia M. Conlon; his daughter Laura Perez; parents William Martin and Lillian P. Conlon, Brother, Brian Conlon; Sister, Dianne Conlon; and his beloved pets, Hazel, Austin and Daisy Mae.
Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family on Tuesday, June 11th 2013 from the hours of five o'clock in the afternoon to nine o'clock in the evening with a seven o'clock prayer service at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road, (956) 618-5900, in Edinburg. Service will be available online at www.legacychapelsrgv.com. Chapel Service will be at ten o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, June 12th 2013, at Legacy Chapels, with Pastor Hector Soto officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
