EDINBURG - Teodoro Perez Jr., 42, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Edinburg surrounded by his family.

Ted was passionate about Nursing, Dallas Cowboys and Cooking. He was a LVN nurse who was passionate about nursing the sick. He loved being a nurse and everything about the nursing field. Ted was on the frontline in Lufkin, TX working as a ER nurse where he helped Hurricane Katrina survivors. He loved football season, watched and critiqued every game! He wore his Dallas Cowboys jersey Dak Prescott # 4 and a Dallas Cowboys white cap. Ted also enjoyed cooking and BBQ. He was a master in the kitchen and on the grill. We shared many delicious meals together and he took the time to pack my lunch. He loved watching lron Chef and other cooking shows. Ted also had a soft spot for animals. He loved our cat Jackson so much. Jackson was part of our little family. We shared so much love and laughter together. He loved comedy shows and movies. The sound of his laughter filled my heart with so much joy, he loved his family and friends. He shared a special bond with his father Teodoro Perez. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Mr. Perez is survived by his wife, Linda Ramirez-Perez; his son, Teodoro Perez III; parents, Teodoro Perez and Alma Perez; sibings, Julio Perez, and Claudia Perez (Gaston) Jacobo; nephew and niece, Isaiah Jacobo and Xenia Jacobo.
