Teodora Melendez

EDINBURG - Teodora Melendez, 78, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 1, 2023, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Ms. Melendez was preceded in death by her husband, Armando Herrera; parents, Clemente and Teodora Melendez; her brother Salvador Melendez, Son, Salvador Herrera .

Ms. Melendez is survived by her five children, Jesus Herrera, Brenda ( Adrian) Herrera, Jorge (Leticia) Herrera, Maira (Emilio) Morado, and Leonel (Miriam) Herrera; 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; six siblings, Alicia Melendez, Luisa Melendez, Abel Melendez, Norma Melendez, Maria Melendez, and Bernardina Melendez; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
