Sylvia Guzman

Edinburg, Texas Sylvia Barajas Guzman,64, entered eternal rest on April 11, 2017 in Edinburg. Sylvia was born on January 1, 1953 in Edinburg to Wilson Dimas and Rita Barajas. Sylvia was a life long resident of Edinburg and a member of Sacred Heart Church for many years. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents Left to cherish her memory is a sister -San Juanita Barajas; her children Ana Guzman, Barbara Guzman, and Rudy Rodriguez, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchldren and ex husband Mr. Juan Guzman and numerous of extended family and friends. Visitation will be held today April 17, 2017 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Legacy Chapels with Fr.Kumar as the officiant. Cremation services will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
