Sherri Lynn Dease

EDINBURG - Sherri Lynn Dease, 59, of McAllen, Texas entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Mrs. Dease is preceded in death by her partner, Rosario Reynoso; her parents, Alma Jean Dease and Robert Luther Dease; brother, Randall Lee Kilgore.

Mrs. Dease was born at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, Texas to Alma Jean Warwick and Robert Luther Dease on February 2, 1965. She was raised in Harlingen and then moved to McAllen where see worked at The Monitor Newspaper (AIM Media Texas) for 43 years where she advanced to Regional Creative Service Director,

Mrs. Dease loved animals, especially dogs and rescued many because of her big heart. She loved fishing, gaming and spending quality time with her close friends and fur babies.

Mrs. Dease is survived by her brother, Rick Kilgore (Terry) from San Diego, California; nephew, Jason (Channel) Kilgore; two beautiful grand nieces, Zoe and Kali Jean Kilgore of San Antonio, Texas.

Special heartfelt thank you to her best friend of 39 years Berty Valdez for all her love and support.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a 3 p.m. Celebration of Life on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Legacy Chapels on 4610 S. Jackson Rd. Edinburg, TX 78539.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
