RUBEN PEREZ MISSION - Ruben Perez, 66, entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in Edinburg. Mr. Perez was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Victoria Perez; three siblings, Ramon, Roberto and Victoria Perez. Mr. Perez is survived by his wife, Angelina Perez; three children, Ruben (Erika) Perez Jr., Sandra Lee (Valerie) Garza, Jose "Joey" (Cynthia) Garza; seven grandchildren, Ruben III, Evelin Lee, Victoria, Lauren, Joey III, Veronica, Johnny; four great grandchildren, Jordan Velasquez, John Velasquez, Vincent Camarillo, and Victor Camarillo; four sisters, Maria De La Cruz "Tita" Salazar, Marianela Perez, Raquel Perez, and Juany Ramos; two brothers, Ramiro Perez, and Jesus Perez Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews. Ruben Perez Ayala was born on May 8, 1955 in Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and BBQ with his family was something he enjoyed and looked forward to doing on the weekends. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
