Rodrigo Gonzalez Jr.

Mcallen - Rodrigo Gonzalez Jr., 88, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Mr. Gonzalez was preceded in death by one son Marco Gonzalez, Irma M Sosa; his parents Rodrigo Gonzalez Sr., and Sofia Aminta Cavazos De Gonzalez; three siblings, Alma A Garcia, Diana Gonzalez, and Armida Lydia Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Dalila Prado Gonzalez, Violet Gonzalez; five children, Rodrigo Gonzalez III, Cynthia (Bill) Kallaher, Edward (Kimberly) Gonzalez, Denice (Aaron) Cavazos, and Jose L. Ortiz; fifteen grandchildren, Anthony Gonzalez, Ariana Miranda, Erika Davies, Sophia Miranda, Marco Miranda, Elizabeth Davies, Mia Gonzalez, Lawson Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez, Chloe Gonzalez, Olivia Cavazos, Logan Cavazos, Peyton Kallaher, Luke Kallaher, and Krista Ortiz; six great grandchildren, Nathan Pedraza, Joaquin Zuniga, Mateo Zuniga, Luke Kincaid, Santiago Ortiz, and Liam Rios; nieces and nephews; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary service, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
