MCALLEN - Rene Reyes, 80, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Mr. Reyes is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Reyes and Eva Reyes; his brother, Pedro Reyes Jr.

Mr. Reyes is survived by his wife, Christina Borbois Reyes; 2 children, Deldi Reyes and Rene Reyes Jr.; 4 siblings, Elida ( Mario) Davila, Tina (Raul) Cavazos, Rey Reyes and Ramiro (Bautilia) Reyes; numerous family and friends.

A husband, father and brother who in his last few days was asked; "Aside from your illness what is your next greatest concern?" To which he replied - "My family!" - His wife, Christina; daughter; Deldi; his son, Rene Jr.
