Reginaldo "Reggie" Garcia

MCALLEN - Reginaldo "Reggie" Garcia, 71, went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, June 13, 2024, in Edinburg. Reggie fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith (II Timothy 4:7). Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, Reginaldo and Refugio Garcia. He was known for his love of classic cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. 

Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Amy Luna-Garcia; two sons, Joshua (Tricia) Luna, and Reginaldo (Sueyshen) Garcia III; three grandchildren, Jaelan, Jaliyah and Jace; two sisters, Graciela (Jose) Garcia-Perez, and Lucila Lagace; a niece and nephew, Alissa Perez, and Sergio Perez; two sisters-in-law, Odilia (Raul) Zamora, and Olympia Luna; four brothers-in-law, Tomas Luna, Benito (Gloria) Luna, Hugo (Leslie) Luna, and Joel (Tena) Luna; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Reggie was a wonderful devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Inurnment of cremated remains will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.

 Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
