EDINBURG - Ramon Nonato Gonzalez Jr., 71, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Clara Gonzalez; his wife, Celia Gonzalez; 1 son, Alfredo Cabrera lll; 2 brothers, Jose Gilberto Gonzalez and Ricardo Rafel Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his 3 children, Ernesto C. (Angelita) Gonzalez, Ramon N. (Julissa) Gonzalez lll, Alexis C. Gonzalez; 5 grandchildren, Angelina Normendez, Joleene Normendez, Clara Gonzalez, Rhaylla Gonzalez and Rhylissa Gonzalez; 5 siblings, Jesus Maria Gonzalez, San Juanita Alma Molina, Maria Sofia Gonzalez, Miguel Gerardo Gonzalez and Francisco Xavier Gonzalez; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
