Ramiro Leal Sr.

Ramiro M. Leal Sr. Pharr-Ramiro M. Leal, 85, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Colonial Manor Advanced and Rehab Healthcare. Ramiro was born on June 1, 1935 in San Juan, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Norberto and Filomena Leal, his brothers Ramon Leal, Ruben, Leal, Roberto Leal, his sisters Benita L. Garza and Elva L. Gonzalez. Ramiro was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served during 1957-1963. He will be remembered for his love and patience for his family. He enjoyed watching football with family and especially, cheering on the Donna Redskins during football season for many years. Mr. Leal is survived by his five children, Ramiro “Ramm” (Marisela) Leal Jr., Yvette (Michael) Landgraf, Braxton (Nicole) Leal, Katherine (Abraham) Buentello, and Sofia (Johnny) Valdez Leal; thirteen grandchildren, his sisters Jovita L. Lopez, Anita L. Flores, Evangelia L. Garcia and his brothers Raul M. Leal, and Norberto Leal Jr. Visitations will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary Thursday October 22, 2020 at Legacy Chapals, 4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Interment will be at 12 pm on Friday October 23, 2020 at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Pallbearers will be Ramiro “Ramm” Leal Jr., Robert Barrera, Abraham Buentello, Braxton Leal Jr., Michael Landgraf, and Kenneth Leal. Honorary Pallbearer Braxton Leal Sr. Live webcasting will be available the day of the service.
