ORALIA BORREGO DECKARD EDINBURG - Oralia Borrego Deckard, 66, entered eternal rest Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in Edinburg. Oralia was preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Borrego; her son, Abel Borrego; her parents, Severino and Flora Serna; eight siblings, Severino Serna, Flora Bustamante Serna, Severino Leo Serna, Lupita Serna, Odilia Renteria, Guadalupe Serna Vega, Reynaldo Serna, and Ernesto Serna. Mrs. Deckard survived by her husband, Thomas Ray Deckard; five children, Maribel Borrego, Alberto (Aide) Borrego III, Brianna Borrego, Tommy Deckard, and Latanya Deckard; three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Haley, and Alberto; two great-grandchildren, Adalynn, and Alejandro; seven siblings, Lydia Cantu, Olga (Joe) Balderas, Ofelia (Russell Dunn) Serna, Luis (Maribel) Serna, Severo Serna, Alfredo (Angie) Serna, Fermin Serna, and Benito (Luz Alma) Serna; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, May 10, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
