Myrna Alicia Ramos de Zuniga

EDINBURG - Myrna Alicia Ramos De Zuniga, 83, a beloved mother, sister, cousin, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Mrs. Zuniga was a beacon of light to many of us and she will be remembered for her selflessness acts of love. Mrs. Zuniga is preceded in death by her parents, Ubaldo Ramos and Gudelia Dominguez; maternal grandparents, Florencio Dominguez and Dominga Sepulveda; paternal grandparents, Antonio Ramos and Maria Ana Barrera; her son, Jorge Ivan Zuniga.

Mrs. Zuniga lived a life marked by kindness, we celebrate a life filled with purpose, joy, love, hope, and faith. Her memory will continue to be a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know our Mommo. 

Mrs. Zuniga is survived by her 2 children, Gilberto Uvaldo Zuniga and Eduardo Zuniga; 8 grandchildren, Iliana R. Zuniga, Clarissa L. Zuniga, Ana M. Zuniga, Gilberto Zuniga, Jasmin M. Zuniga, Jannely A. Zuniga, Jonathon E. Zuniga and Jacquelyn J. Zuniga; 11 great grandchildren, Makayla, Marlyssa, Madie, Miliana, Hector, Luna, Aubree, Joe, Josiah, Joel, and Ellie; 6 siblings, Graciela Ramos, Ubaldo Ramos, Hugo Ramos, Leonel Ramos, Edna Ramos and Anabella Ramos; numerous family and friends.

Mrs. Zuniga will be deeply missed by her sons, brothers, sisters, cousins and her grandchildren.

A heartfelt thank you to the ER team at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance where Myrna received outstanding and compassionate care in her final hours.

The family invites you to Celebrate Mrs. Zunigas Life with a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, at St. Jude’s Thaddeus Catholic Church, 505 S. Ironwood St., Pharr, TX.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
