Mirtha Lozano

EDINBURG - Mirtha Garibay De Lozano, 61, entered eternal rest on Monday, October 14, 2024. Mrs. Lozano is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Garibay and Cristina Guerra; two siblings, Evelia (Jose) Sarmiento, and Maria Ansension Garibay.

Mrs. Lozano is survived by her husband of 41 years of marriage, Jose Angel Lozano; four children, Brenda (Rudy) Vega, Arturo ( Cynthia) Lozano, Jose ( Victoria) Lozano Jr., and Berenice (Robert) Lopez; five grandchildren, Ruby Ochoa, Amizael Lozano, Arturo Lozano, Barbara Lozano, and Grecia Lozano; seven siblings, Artemio ( Crisela) Garibay, Javier (Elia) Garibay, Fernando (Aracely) Garibay, Aracely (Bernardo) Almaraz, Martha (Carlos) Cantu, Sonia (Juan) Rodriguez, and Nohemi (Ira) Jarmon; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be, Arturo Lozano, Jose Lozano, Roberto Lopez, Rudy Vega, Fernando Garibay, and Javier Garibay.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday October 17, 2024 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
