Mercedes Rodriguez

Mercedes Rodriguez passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on October 10th 1931 to Jose Inez and Feliciana Melchor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Maria Rodriguez, a son, Gilberto Rodriguez, and a granddaughter Mercedes Isabel Caballero. She is survived by her children; Sylvia Rodriguez, Eduardo Rodriguez (Irma), Olga Caballero (Marcos Antonio), Rolando Rodriguez, Patricia Buentello, Jesus Rodriguez (Norma), and Humberto Rodriguez (Veronica); 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Aurora Ozuna and Rosario Flores; two brothers, Jose Inez Melchor Jr. and Rogelio Melchor. Funeral Mass will be at ten o'clock in the morning Today, May 31, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg
