MCALLEN - Marta Cantu, 74, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 11, 2023, in Edinburg. Mrs. Cantu was preceded in death by her parents, Eulalio and Rosa De Leon; five siblings, Tomas De Leon, Eulalio De Leon Jr., Juan Treviño, Maria T. Garza, and Pedro De Leon. Marta's passion for music and fishing will never be forgoten. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.
Mrs. Cantu is survived by her husband, Pedro Cantu; her daughter, Dianell Moncada; her brother, Eliberto De Leon; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will be Friday, March 17, 2023 3:00pm at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, TX.
