Maricela C. Elizondo

MCALLEN - Maricela C. Elizondo, 77, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at her residence in McAllen surrounded by her family. Mrs. Elizondo was preceded in death by her son, Martin Angel Elizondo; her parents, Eliborio and Maria Santos Canales; her brother, Fabian Oscar Canales. 

Mrs. Elizondo is survived by her husband, Francisco A. Elizondo; five children, Marielsa A. (Carlos) Pulido, Mayela S. (Manuel) Cantu, Francisco A. Elizondo Jr., Marisa S. (Andrew) Casares, and Manrique A. (McKayla) Elizondo; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Marielva Cantu, and Liborio Canales; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a 2 p.m. Celebration of Life service, Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. 

Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
