MARIA GUADALUPE TREVIÑO
EDINBURG - Maria Guadalupe Treviño, 90, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Donna she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Treviño is preceded in death by her husband, Felipe M. Treviño; a son-in-law, Juan Salas; a daughter-in-law, Esmeralda Treviño; her parents, Enrique and Emilia Jackson; five siblings, Martin Jackson, Joe Jackson, Enrique Jackson Jr., Benilde Jackson, and Aurelia Jackson.
Mrs. Treviño is survived by her thirteen children, Felipe (Lala) Treviño Jr., Pedro (Cristina) Treviño, Anita Salas, Ruben Treviño, Gloria (Rick) De La Cruz, Celia (Gilbert) Canales, Homer (Vina) Treviño, Rene (Gloria) Treviño, Estella (Rudy) Garcia, Ninfa (Augustin) Garcia, Yolanda (Guadalupe) Maldonado, Sulema Treviño, and Roy (Ninfa) Treviño; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her brother, Juan Jackson; four sisters, Susana Gonzalez, Maria Garcia, Rafaela Jackson, and Maria Jackson; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
