MARIA DE JESUS MARTINEZ IBARRA EDINBURG - Maria De Jesus Martinez Ibarra, 81, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, March 1, 2020, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Concepcion Martinez. Mrs. Martinez Ibarra is survived by her six children, Noelia Avalos Martinez, Armando Avalos (Gregoria) Martinez, Alma Delia (Jesus) Castro, Sonia (Enrique) Alba, Luis Enrique (Maria Isabel) Avalos Martinez, and Elsa Ivonne (Vicente) Ramirez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two siblings, Jose Dolores Martinez Ibarra, and Jose Luis Martinez Ibarra; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
