MARIA TRINIDAD "GÜELITA" LOPEZ DE LOPEZ

EDINBURG - Maria Trinidad "Güelita" Lopez De Lopez, 75, went to be with our Lord, Friday, August 17, 2018 in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Mexico she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Lopez is preceded in death by her son, Danielito Lopez; her great-granddaugther, Alyssa Faith Ortiz; her parents, Jose De Jesus and Maria Soledad Lopez; 15 siblings.

Mom's famous words, "La vida no es asi, uno la ase asi". Güelita will alway be missed and loved by all who knew her.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by her husband, Guillermo Lopez; ten children, Jorge L. (Sara Rojas) Lopez, Jaime A. (Sarah) Lopez, Lucy (John) Robinson, Alvaro R. (Laura) Lopez, Juan C. Lopez, Joe J. (Rosa) Lopez, Guillermo (San Juanita) Lopez Jr., Beatriz Lopez, Esmeralda Lopez, and Adan Lopez; 21 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her brother, Jose De Jesus Lopez; numerous nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service and a  7 p.m. rosary also, Monday, August 20, 2018 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
