Maria Longoria

MARIA DEL REFUGIO LONGORIA EDINBURG - Maria Del Refugio Longoria, 67, went to be with our Lord, Friday, July 7, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico and formerly of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Longoria is preceded in death by her daughter, Elsa Elisa Longoria and mother, Catalina Chavez. Mrs. Longoria is survived by her husband, Rigoberto Longoria; four children: Anselma Longoria, Rigoberto Longoria, Jr., Eduardo Longoria and Alfonso Longoria; nine grandchildren: Paola, Alejandro, Esteban, Ian, Eduardo Jr., Lorna, Leah, Emmanuel and Evan; three brothers, Hector, Victor and Jose Valdez; two sisters, Paulina and Bertha Nora Valdez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Celebration of Life service, Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
