Maria Guerra

SAN JUAN - Maria Guerra, 84, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs. Guerra was preceded in death by her husband, Liberato Guerra Ramirez; her parents, Sebastian and Felicitas Torres; four sibings, Tomasa Torres, Francisco Torres, Pedro Torrres and Roman Torres.

Mrs. Guerra is survived by her seven children, Margarita (Reyes) Vasquez, Liberato (Mary) Guerra Jr., Humberto (Raquel) Guerra, Eulalio (Raquel) Guerra, Armando (Hilda) Guerra, Ruben (Guadalupe) Guerra, and Idalia (Jose) Hernandez; 21 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Magdalena Nunñez and Fidela Rosales; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with a 11 a.m. rosary and 4 p.m. prayer service, Friday, March 3, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Fuenral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Roselawn Mausoleum Chapel in McAllen. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
