EDINBURG - Maria Dolores Gamez, 73, went to be with our Lord, Monday May 20, 2019 in Edinburg. Mrs Gamez was preceded in death by her mother, Vicenta Chapa.

Mrs. Gamez is survived by her husband, Daniel Gamez; three children, Melissa Ann Garza, Ruben Xavier (Carolina) Gamez, and Daniel (Robert Unger) Gamez Jr.; six grandchildren, Kristen, Nicholus, Michaela, Darrell, Skylar, and Gunner; two great-grandchildren, Silas and Marceline. 

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at a later date.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
