Maria Cruz Zambrano

Edinburg,Texas Maria Cruz Zambrano, ,51, entered eternal sleep Saturday June 6,2020 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mari, as she was lovingly called by her family and friends was born May 3,1969 in Mexico to Vicente and Sara (Gonzalez) Hernandez. Mari had lived in Edinburg for most of her life. Mari loved going to church , reading her bible, making jewelry, tending her garden, and baking her famous banana bread. Mari truly lived life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her father. Left to cherish her memory and legacy is her beloved husband Antonio Zambrano Jr.; her loving daughters- Dalia Zambrano, Delia Zambrano, Diana Zambrano; Her grandchildren- Vincent Chapa, Isabella Grace Mora, Addaline Emma Mora, Alexa Mora; Her mother- Sara Gonzalez Hernandez; Her brothers and sisters- Fransisco, Jacinto, Rosalba, Maria del Socorro, Francisco, America Lucia, Camelia, Sergio and Arnoldo. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday June 9,2020 at Legacy chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 10,2020 at 10:00 am at Legacy Chapels With Pastor Polo Rivera officiating. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Cemetery in Pharr. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
