Maria Aurora Castilla

MISSION - Maria Aurora Castilla, 64, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 2, 2024, in McAllen. Maria was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lesley Castilla, her parents, Dario and Maria Vazquez.

Mrs. Castilla is survived by her husband, Homero Castilla; three children, Homero (Anna) Castilla, Emmanuel (Susy) Castilla, Abigail (Luis) Osorio; six grandchildren, Homero III, Christian Gael, Alicia, Andres, Stefany, and Luis David Jr.; seven siblings; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
