MARCIANO L. MARQUEZ Brownfield/Weslaco - Marciano L. Marquez, 90, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, January 19, 2016, in Lubbock, Texas. Born in Jalisco, Mexico he had lived in Brownfield, Texas most of his life. He enjoyed working in the Agriculture Industry all his life. Mr. Marquez is preceded in death by his wife, Jacinta Marquez; three children, Juanita, Ruben and Rodolfo Marqauez; his parents, Javier and Juanita Marquez; three brothers, Javier, Roberto and Melchor Marquez. Mr. Marquez is survived by his four sons; Rogelio, Roberto and Reynaldo Marquez and Eluterio Diaz; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cuca and Carmela Marquez; a brother, Ignacio Marquez. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary, Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2pm Monday, January 25, 2016, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
