Manuel Romero

SAN JUAN - Manuel Romero, 77, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 13, 2024, in San Juan surrounded by his family. Mr. Romero was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Serrano and Rosa Romero; a sister, Isabel Anzaldua. 

Mr. Romero is survived by his wife, Agristela Romero; four children, Alma Rosa (Pedro) Velasquez, Cynthia Gabriela Romero, Ana Lucia Romero, and Manuel De Jesus Romero; three grandchildren, Sophia, Natalia, and Josiah; three siblings, Adolfo Pena, Maria Garces, and Librado Romero; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
