Lucila G. Mendiola

Mrs. Lucila G. Mendiola,88, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 3, 2018 surrounded by her family at her McAllen home. Lucila was born on Sept.3,1929 in Comales, Tamp. Mexico to Anacleto and San Juana (Alaniz) Garza. Lucila was a life long resident of McAllen. Lucila enjoyed her life to its fullest. Lucila was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers and sisters, her son Roel Bustamante, and her husband Mario Mendiola.

Left to cherish Lucila's memory are her two sons Jaime (Sylvia) Mendiola and Roel (Claudia) Mendiola; two grandchildren Mario (Alex) Mendiola and Sarah Mendiola.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S.Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 5 PM to 9 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 7 PM. Cremation will take place at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
