LUCIA AIDE GUERRA PHARR - Lucia Aide Guerra, 67, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico she had lived in Pharr most of her life. She was preceded in death by a son, Victor Hugo Garza; her father, Victor Garza. Mrs. Guerra is survived by her husband, Israel Guerra; two sons, Carlos Alberto (Marina) Guerra and Merardo (Monica) Guerra; 8 grandchildren; her mother, Antonia Garza; two sisters, Sylvia Zavala and Guadalupe Miranda; a brother, David Vallejo; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2016, at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr. Cremation will follow. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
