LEOPOLDO OLVERA EDINBURG - Leopoldo Olvera entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Mr. Olvera is preceded in death by his parents, Maria De Jesus Cavazos and Benito Olvera; 2 brothers, Hilario Olvera and Donasiano Camacho; 1 sister, Silvestra Camacho. Mr. Olvera is survived by his loving wife, Maria Del Refugio Olvera; his 5 children, Benito (Eva) Olvera, Francisca (Fernando) Gonzalez, Leopoldo (Melissa) Olvera, Juany (Ricardo) Cantu, and Vanessa (Juan) Torres; 3 sisters, Angelita Aguilar, Noelia Zapata, and Benita Hinojosa; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous family and friends. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. rosary Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow to Val Verde in Donna. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels.
