EDINBURG - Lauro Montemayor, 80, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Mr. Montemayor is preceded in death by his parents, Melchor and Anita Montemayor; 1 brother, Juan Montemayor.
Mr. Montemayor is survived by his wife, Anita Montemayor; 5 children, Julio Cesar Montemayor, Ana Laura Montemayor, Hector M. Montemayor, Jose A. Montemayor and Carlos A. Montemayor; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a 1 p.m. chapel service, Monday, November 13, 2023, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg
