KAREN ANN GLYNN

ALTON - Karen Ann Glynn, 79, entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 11, 2023, in Edinburg. Mrs. Glynn was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Phyllis Hicks; her two sons, Lynn "Bugs" VanderMoere Jr., and Rich VanderMoere; her sister, Candice Hardenburg.

Karen loved to bowl, and ride horses, devoted to God, loved singing and dancing and playing poker or euchre.loved her family. She grew up in Mason and Charlotte Michigan, worked as a school bus driver and retired after 15 years driving for CATA.

Mrs. Glynn is survived by her husband of 44 years Patrick Glynn; her daughter, Kristy (Robert) Dill; sons, Scott (Evita) VanderMoere, Daniel (Jody) Ford; two step daughters, 1 step son; 23 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; two brothers, Neal (Shirley) Hicks, and Mike (Bev) Hicks.

Visitiation will begin at 9 a.m. with a 11 a.m. Celebration of Life Service, Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
