Julia Gonzalez

SAN JUAN - Julia Gonzalez, 79, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 2, 2023, in San Juan surrounded by her family. Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her parents, Luciano and Maria Valentina Cepeda; three siblings, Bertha Jimenez, Luciano Cepeda, and Beneberto Cepeda.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her husband, Salvador Gonzalez; six children, Salvador (Manuela) Gonzalez Sr., Rosa Josefina (Oscar) Cantu, Maria Imelda (Romulo) Rios, Juan Antonio Gonzalez, Bertha Alicia (Juan Carlos) Ortiz, and Jesus (Mirna Lorena) Gonzalez;  16 grandchildren; two siblings, Maria De Hoyos, and Juanita Lopez; numeorus nieces and nephews.

Visitaiton will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, April 3, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
