Juan Carlos Serna

PHARR - Juan Carlos Serna, 57, entered eternal rest on Monday, February 24, 2025, in Pharr surrounded by his family. Mr. Serna was preceded in death by his father, Carlos De Angel Serna. 

Mr. Serna is survived by his wife, Maria C. Serna; five children, Juan Carlos Serna Jr., Marco Giovanni (Flora) Serna, Malenny Ariana (Alex) Delgado, Diego Mar Serna, and Johann Javier Serna; five grandchildren, Juan III, Genesis, Emma, Fabian, and Olivia; his mother, Maria Elena Serna;  ten siblings, Delia Serna, Francisco Serna, Ana Maria Serna, Magdalena Serna, Silvina Serna, Maria C. Serna, Dalila Serna, Indira Serna, Sylvia Serna, and Noelia Serna; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
