JUAN RODRIGUEZ

ALAMO- Juan Rodriguez, 88, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Alamo surrounded by his family. Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Rodriguez; parents, Vicente and Eva Rodriguez; five brothers, Chano, Lupe, Jose, Emilio and Francisco Rodriguez; two sisters, Juanita and Victoria Rodriguez.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by daughter, Olivia C. Bernal; two grandsons, Juan Javier Rodriguez Sr. and Jorge Rodriguez; seven great-grandchildren, Juan Javier Rodriguez Jr., Cynthia N. Rodriguez, Alyssa Rodriguez, Jonathan Rodriguez, Sonny Rodriguez, Mia Rodriguez and Kash Rodriguez; great-great-grandson, Simon Garcia; great-great-granddaughter, Sara Garcia; sister, Cruz (Abel) Gonzalez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Resurrection Catholic Church 219 N. 9th St. in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
