Joshua Daniel Villarreal

EDINBURG - Joshua Daniel Villarreal, 19, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Edinburg. Joshua was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ramon Villarreal, and Martina Rodriguez; maternal grandparents, Federico Cantu and Sylvia Cantu; his uncle, Federico Cantu Jr.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Ramon Abel Villarreal, and Violeta Cantu; eight siblings, Michael Villarreal, David Villarreal, Raemon Villarreal, Aaron J. Villarreal, Samantha Villarreal, Isabel Villarreal, Rodrigo Leija, and Jesus Leija; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday February 18, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday February 19, 2025, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
