Joseph D. Leitch

Alamo, Texas On April 28, 2020 Mr. Joseph David Leitch passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Alamo. Born December 23, 1941 in Erie, PA. to Joseph Leitch and Margarita Boren Leitch, Joseph was a resident of Alamo for many years. He owned and operated an animal shelter where his love for dogs was immense. Joseph enjoyed family gatherings, especially with his son, and he loved to read. Joseph truly enjoyed life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents. Joseph is survived by his wife- Mireya Leitch; His son Anthony (Heather) Leitch; His daughters-Donna McLean and Michelle Galvan; His loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, and Family friend- Nancy McManus; Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2020 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be at 1:00 PM. Cremation service will follow at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
