Jose O. Flores

MCALLEN - Jose O. Flores, 86, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in Edinburg. Mr. Flores was preceded in death by his son, Gerardo Flores; his parents, Raymundo Flores and Ramona Oceguera; two siblings, Manuel Flores, and Maria Najera Guevara.

Mr. Flores is survived by his wife, Angelica Oceguera; six children, Jose Flores Jr., Sylvia Flores, David O. (Dulce) Flores, Samuel (Christina) Oceguera, Eliud (Denisse) Oceguera, and Azael Oceguera; two grandchildren, Moses and Liam Oceguera; five siblings, Edmundo Flores, Angel Flores, Rosa Flores, Blanca Flores, and Luis Flores; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
