JOSE JESUS GUTIERREZ SAN JUAN- Jose Jesus Gutierrez, 79, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in Pharr he had lived in San Juan for the past 20 years. Mr. Gutierrez is preceded in death by a son, Javier Bravo Avila; his parents, Jose Maria Gutierrez and Francisca Hernandez Gutierrez; a brother Baudel Gutierrez; two sisters, Julia Luna and Antonia Guzman. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife Rosalinda Bravo Gutierrez; 11 children, Fernando (San Juanita) Gutierrez, Rolando Gutierrez, Jose Luis (Angie) Gutierrez, Veronica Gutierrez, Sandra Gutierrez, Roman (Monica) Gutierrez, Cynthia (Jesus) Garcia, Sonia Avila Bevier, Sandra Avia, Sylvia Espinoza and Jessica (Velma) Gutierrez; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother Jose M. (Teresa) Gutierrez; a sister Eugenia Gutierrez. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary, today, April 23, 2015, at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10am Friday, April 24, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
