Mr. Jose Amparo Castillo,75, entered eternal rest Sunday, September 15, 2019 surrounded by his family at the Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg. Jose was born September 28, 1943 in Mexico to Juan Alberto Castillo and Rosalia (Mansanares) Castillo. Jose had lived in Edinburg for most of his life. He enjoyed being outdoors. Spending time in the shade under trees. Jose enjoyed family time. He truly lived life to its fullest. Jose will be dearly missed by his family and those that came to know him.

Jose is suvived by his wife- Rosa Martha Zamarripa Castillo; His children-Jorge Castillo (Irasema), Reynalda Gonzalez(Nery), Esmeralda Castillo (Noe Puente), Jose Castillo (Jessica Zavala); Siblings- Mercedes Castillo, Jose Castillo, Florentino Castillo; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, September 16, 2019 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Cemetery in Donna, Texas.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
