Joaquina Gonzalez

PHARR - Joaquina Gonzalez, 89, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2025 in Pharr surrounded by her family. Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Gonzalez; two children, Santos Gonzalez, and Anita Brown; her parents, Luis and Maria Estrada; five siblings, Domingo Estrada, Julio Estrada, Francisco Estrada, Teodoro Estrada, and 

Joaquina is survived by her nine children: Erasmo Gonzalez, Candido Gonzalez, San Juana Rodriguez (Guadalupe), Estela Morales (Juan), Aleida Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez (Irma), Ludivina Avila, Maribel Elisea (Ruperto), Sandra Sosa (Ruben); and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service, on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
