Jimmie Lee Castro Sr.

MCALLEN - Jimmie Lee Castro Sr., 71, went to be with his Lord, on Sunday, September 10, 2023, in Houston. Jimmie was preceded in death by his grandson, Kristopher Lee Castro; his parents, Manuel and Sylvia Castro.

We will always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace and that toothpick on the side of your mouth! We will always remember you Dad because they'll never be another one to replace you in our hearts. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Jimmie is survived by his three children, Orlando Franco Castro, Olinda Castro Kolarik, and Jimmie Lee Castro Jr.; six grandchildren, Ivan Franco, Lillian Grace Franco, Nichalos Lee Castro, Alex Cauping, Sydney Love Munoz, Caitlin Elizabeth Kolarik; four siblings, George Castro, Gloria Ayala, Gene Castro and Letty Castro; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Chapel service, and a 7 p.m. rosary, Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. In lieu of flowers, plants will be welcomed by the family.

Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
