Jesus H. Muniz

MCALLEN - Jesus H. Muniz, 76, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 21, 2025, in McAllen. Mr. Muniz was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores and Rosa Muniz; nine siblings, Candelaria Dominguez, Maria Santiago Contreras, Dora Muniz Zaragoza, Dolores "Lolo" Muniz, Manuel Fierro "El Oso" Muinz, Manuel "Melio" Muniz, Adan "Nanes" Muniz, Rey Muniz, and Salvador "Chillin" Muniz.

Mr. Muniz is survived by his wife, Elvira Muniz; five children, Jesus (Delma Ann) Castillo Muniz, Monica (Eduardo) Fernandez, Rosanna Castillo Muniz, Edward (Tricia) Licon, and Nancy Nydia De La Garza; five grandchildren, Patrick, Noah, Katherine, Tara, and Tiffany; two siblings, Monce Acosta, and Israel "Chuco" Muniz; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction fo Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
