James Anthony Breon
McAllen- James Anthony Breon, 67 passed away on Tuesday December 29, 2020, at McAllen Heart Hospital. Mr. Breon was born in Mobile Alabama, and was a longtime resident of McAllen. James was preceded in death by his brother Joel Breon, his father George L. Breon, and his mother Barbara D. Rich.
Mr. Breon was a proud Army veteran during the Vietnam era Army.He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, National Rifle Association (NRA), Pharr Rifle & Pistol Club; Patriot Guard Riders, and was a Harley Owners Group member (HOG) for 8 years.His all time favorite hobby was riding his 2015 FLXSE CVO Street Glide Special. Riding his motorcycle brought him peace, therapy, and a joy that only motorcycle riders can relate to. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and an was an avid gun and knife collector, but most of all he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be truly missed.
Mr. Breon is survived by his wife Dalia R. Breon of McAllen TX. One brother Jeffery M. Breon of Summerfield FL, Three daughters; Heather L. Miles of Somerset KY, Jaime A. Breon of San Juan TX, and Felicia Mann of McAllen TX. Sons; Charles L. Miles of Hartford KY, Albert J. Muñoz of Edinburg TX, and Sontino R. Mann of McAllen TX. Grandchildren; Brooklyn P. Skaggs, Brayden T. Skaggs, Bryson L. Skaggs of Somerset KY, Phoebe L. Miles, Gracelyn L. Miles of Hartford KY, Kennedy L. Breon, and Daniel A. Cantu II of San Juan TX.
Military Honors will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road, Edinburg, TX. 78539. (956) 618-5100 followed by gravesite services at Rio Grande Veterans Cemetery 2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX. 78572
