IRENE MUNOZ CAVAZOS

MCALLEN - Irene Munoz Cavazos, 58, went to her eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in Houston, Texas. Irene fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith (II Timothy 4:7). Mrs. Cavazos was preceded in death by her father, Arnoldo Munoz Sr.; her brother, Enrique Munoz; her maternal grandparents, Juan and Maria Villarreal, and paternal grandparents, Enrique and Romula Munoz;

Irene is survived by her husband, Curt S. Cavazos;  her three children, Michael A. (Angeles) Cavazos, Michelle R. (Gilbert) Cavazos - Hernandez, and Steven Cavazos; two grandsons, Dante, and Matteo; her mother, Esperanza Munoz; three siblings, Imelda, Romula "Romie", and Arnoldo Munoz Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery and Mausoleum in McAllen, Texas.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
