Ilda Chapa De De La Garza

ILDA CHAPA MCALLEN - Ilda Chapa, 85, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in McAllen. Mrs. Chapa was preceded in death by her husband, Plinio De La Garza; her parents, Pedro and Rebeca Chapa; six siblings, Amalia, Consuelo, Ema, Esther, Roberto and Lauro; two son-in-laws, Hugo Rodriguez and Erigh Kott. Mrs. Chapa is survived by her six children, Indira De La Garza, Hilda De La Garza, Cynthia De La Garza, Rebeca De La Garza, Erica De La Garza (Oscar De Leon), Jessika De La Garza (Jose Rosas); twelve grandchildren, Hugo, Indira, Rafael, Blanca, Anselmo, Darlene, Erigh, Blake, Ericka, Jose, Emilio, and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Isaias, and Thiago; two sisters, Ernestina, Rebeca. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, February 7, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
