HORTENCIA "TENCHA" GARZA

EDINBURG - Hortencia "Tencha" Garza, 81, went to be with our Lord, Friday, April 5, 2019, in Edinburg. Born in La Palmita, Los Aldamas, N.L., Mexico, she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Ms. Garza was preceded in death by her husband, Cecilio Salinas; her parents, Luis and Teresa Garza.

Ms. Garza is survived by her two children, Ramon Salinas, Amelia Solis; her son-in-law, Pancho Solis; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine silblings, Artemio Garza, Roberto Garza, Federico Garza, Olivia Garza, Maria Guadalupe Garza, Amelia Garza, Zenaido Garza, Rosy Salinas, and Luisa Garza; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2019, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
