HILDA MORENO Hilda Moreno, 44, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, August 31, 2017, in Mission surrounded by her family. Born in Valle Hermoso, Tamps., Mexico, she had lived in Mission most of her life and was employed by Boggus Ford. Mrs. Moreno is survived by her husband, Albelardo Moreno; her children: Abigail and Alan Moreno; her parents, Jose Guadalupe and Adela Ponce; two brothers: Rolando (Alejandra) Ponce and Rodolfo (Jessica) Ponce; a sister, Norma (Leandro) Quintero; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 4 p.m. rosary, Friday, September 1, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
