HILDA CORTEZ

EDINBURG- Hilda Cortez, 68, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 8, 2023 in Edinburg. Mrs. Cortez was preceded in death by parents, Francisco and Lucia Morales; three siblings, Israel Morales, Jorge Morales and Armando Morales.

Mrs. Cortez was survived by her husband, Ruben Cortez; five children, Nora (Lewis) Admire, Ruben Cortez Jr., Lori (Miles) Ellison, Melissa Cortez and Aaron (Kathy) Cortez; nine grandchildren, Kaylee, Maddie, Lexie, Lucy, Camron, Evelyn, Avery, Kenzie and Jacob; five siblings; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
